Update 11/29/06 - Although Smokie does not have the long hair as her mom and she look mostly like a DSH......if you always wanted Lassie but can't do the hair....then a smooth collie is for you!!  Likewise with Smokie!!  All the wonderful MC traits.....minus the long hair!! 

Smokie is 5 and 1/2 month old kitten, very cute and nosey. Helps with all chores..litter box cleaning..feeding...sweeping. She was my sickest now she's my quickest...hence her name. When she became well she moved so fast I said "Look at her go ...She's smokin'"!! She is very affectionate likes being held and will climb up your leg along with her brother Bandit to your shoulder to get a better look at what ever your doing!!!!!

Update 5/9/07 - now 11 months old, Smokie is one of the two left from Cocoa's litter which when we received them in July '06 were guessed to be 3 to 4 weeks old. Very smart....she' s half coonie!!...and has some of her mom's traits....knows what she wants and will remind my dogs of their place with small growls..no hissing or swatting.  Is very affectionate. ..on her terms...loves canned food and nip too!!!  Will do fine with dogs or cats.  She is also very beautifully marked
