Kara is a young purebreed Maine Coon without papers. She is people-friendly, but very frightened of dogs.

Kara never saw the ouside of a cage before she came into rescue. We had to teach her to play with toys and to let us pet her and to let us hold her. Kara had never been around any other cats or humans. Now she is loving her freedom. She loves to play, has learned there is a good thing called wet cat food, is learning to play with our blind youngster Bella and my husband has taught her what fun it is to chase a laser toy.
 
Kara is a beautiful little cat, she is young, still leaning and still gaining weight and learning humans are really ok. She has found sitting on a lap is kind of nice and being picked gently up and held is enough to make a cat purr!
