**THIS IS A COURTESY POST**

THIS IS A COURTESY POST CAT WHO IS BEING CARED FOR BY OUR FRIENDS AT OTHER RESCUE GROUPS/SHELTERS, OR IS A PRIVATE PARTY NEEDING TO REHOME THEIR CAT. FOR INFORMATION ON THIS CAT, PLEASE DIRECTLY CONTACT THE PERSON NAMED BELOW.

George and his sister (Baby Girl) came from the same litter; both were fostered through the Humane Society since their eyes were closed, so they've been cared for by the same family members their whole lives. Neither has had any health issues ever, not even a virus during that time.

George is curious and playful and loves to be petted.

His sister, Baby Girl, who is also pictured in this post, is very affectionate and docile, with fur that feels like silk. She would prefer to be perched on your lap, either napping or being petted.

Both are wonderful with kids of all ages/sizes (they currently live with 2), they get along well with other cats, and they grew up with dogs too.

They would do wonderful being adopted together as they've been together their whole lives, although this is not a requirement.

They are combo tested negative for FIV & FeLV (Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). They are neutered/spayed and up to date on vaccines.

They have very good litter box habits.

Placement is needed due to their owner is going into a care facility. Family members currently caring for them are military personnel subject to deployments.

Maine Coon Rescue is helping screen potential homes for them.
