THIS IS A COURTESY POST CAT WHO IS BEING CARED FOR BY A PRIVATE PARTY NEEDING TO REHOME THEIR CAT. Starr is a lovely, petite brown tabby girl with fetching green eyes in search of a new home because her human mom has entered an assisted living home. A neighbor is now caring for her in her original home. Starr is cautious with newcomers but will warm up with a little time. She has a minor special need in that she has asthma which is successfully treated with prednisone every other day. Her situation is sad as she is being housed in a laundry room with no windows or human companionship other than the daily visits by her caregiver. Her human mom had her isolated in the laundry room because of the asthma but the veterinarian told the caregiver that isolation is not necessary. Starr plays with several stuffed toys and will sometimes put the stuffed mouse in her water bowl. Starr has never been around children but should be OK with older, respectful children. There was a dog in the house, and she was aware of him but never met him face-to-face. Starr is a sweet cat deserving of a loving home where she can hone her social side and curiosity. She needs some love, a pat or a kiss on the top of her head several times a day, windows to view the world that she has never seen and the knowledge that she is loved. We are hoping the right person with much love to share sees this post and cannot wait to take her to her forever home. Adoption Fee: $75, which includes vaccinations.
