THE FOLLOWING CAT IS BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME.

Tiger Lilly came into foster care with MCR the first week of April 2024. Not much is known about her early history and it is assumed that she was abandoned at a very young age. At first, it was thought she was feral, but this is not the case. She was extremely fearful and scared. For this reason, it has taken Tiger Lilly a longer period of time to adjust to being in a home. For the first few weeks, she did exhibit some fear aggression as she was not used to being in a home or around many people. Many household things scared her such as the ceiling fan, toss pillows, and other household items that she was not used to seeing. She did not play for the first month, we think she missed learning how to play with her siblings and mother. She is now happy, playful and sweet.

She loves human companionship and will follow you from room to room during the day. She likes to be close, so you need to watch she is not underfoot! Tiger Lilly is quite vocal with little chirps and soft meowing. She loves attention but is not yet fond of being picked up and held, but this is gradually changing as she is now feeling safe and secure. (A recent vet visit estimated her age to be approximately 18 months old based on size and full dental exam. It was also noted during a dental exam, that a front tooth was broken some time ago and some of the smaller lower teeth were missing.) The vet feels that this is attributed to "life on the street" and lack of care during her early age. 

Tiger Lilly enjoys the companionship of a couple of the resident cats who are gentle and calm and she would love to have a gentle cat companion in your home. She has adjusted to the foster family dogs and will tolerate them as long as she is not stalked or chased. Tiger Lilly can be a bit rambunctious and is learning to play gently without using her claws. She loves to run through the house and scampers back and forth between the cat trees. Occasionally she can become overstimulated or if feeling threatened she may put her claws out and give a swat. For this reason, Tiger Lilly will do best in a quiet home with adults who will be patient and allow her time to adjust to her new home. She is an active and quirky little cat who will steal your heart. Tiger Lilly will be a sweet and loyal companion. 

Tiger Lilly's Adoption Fee is $200.00. This includes spay/neuter, FVRCP Vaccine, Rabies Vaccine, Combo test (neg/neg), dewormer, flea prevention, and wellness visit.
