THE FOLLOWING CAT IS BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. Gentle and playful, Jack (a.k.a. Plum), is simply a lovely kitten. He will watch his human sibs quietly from the sidelines while they play a board game, play by himself with a favorite stuffed toy mouse, or sleep curled up on the back of a couch or chair close by. Some cats can be "in your face", demanding attention, but that is not Jack's way. He is comfortable with being picked up and cuddled, but must clean and regroom every inch of his fluffy gray and white fur if it's mussed! Like so many of our kittens that are rescued from far less-than-ideal-circumstances, Jack had to overcome several health challenges to become the healthy, beautiful charmer that he is today. At times I worried that the weeks and weeks of treatments he had to endure might change his gentle spirit, but those concerns were wasted. He is still the sweet, loving, playful kitten we all grew to love. Jack is ready for his forever home, and for all the love an adoptive family can give him.
