GRAZIA HAS FOUND HIS LOVING FOREVER HOME! COONGRATULATIONS GRAZIA AND FAMILY.
DOB (approx): January 2004. Available for Adoption: ADOPTED !
Grazia is a gorgeous Maine Coon boy with a glorious coat who has lot to be thankful for, hence his name meaning "thank you" in Italian! Grazia was rescued from a pound in Maryland, where he was miserable, as he was dumped there like a sack of potatoes by his owners. He was feeling dreadful, but upon being rescued by a nice foster mom and pop, he is all well now. A sweetheart, Grazia is an affectionate boy, who purrs away and rubs against human legs and furniture, but doesn't love a lot of handling by his human folks as yet! We do know that he was in an adult only household before, and was likely left alone and not given much love and affection, so he is quite independent, and likes to go off to a quiet spot at times to reflect on cat life. Grazia does love tuna and kitty treats -- his handsome eyes grow wide with delight and he comes running for those! He does well with 4 cats in his foster home, and 2 dogs, one of which is a Boxer mix puppy with lots of energy. Grazia is adapting to a 10 yr. old boy, but likes to show his affection with little love bites as he doesn't know better, so a child-free home might be best. True to his grand Maine Coon personality, which is full of fun and clowning around, Grazia is a funny boy, and loves to play in water and with his water bowl, as well as his food bowl, occasionally dumping it. He makes his foster family laugh a lot. Grazia is purrfectly litter trained, and covers his litter box with the towel beneath it, if he feels it needs to be cleaned! While he hates the vacuum's dreadful noise, which offends his ears, he does love his crate, and will escape to his room to hide in it at times for peace and quiet, and cat meditation. Grazia is neutered and up to date on shots. Maine Coons don't mature until about 5 yrs. of age, so this boy is still a youngster in Maine Coon years! Won't you give this beautiful boy a loving forever home?
