Maine Coon Rescue THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. BIO: Big "Brother Kitty" (formerly "Bates") is a playful, affectionate, growing ball of purring fur! He possesses the mellow Maine Coon personality that we love so much, but also enjoys playing crazy-kitty chase and wrestling games with sibling Rosemary. He is great with with the young children AND 45-pound dog who share his home. He tries to steal the dog's toys, not at all intimidated by their size/weight differences! Based on current paw size and weight, Brother Kitty may be a large-ish adult. Brother Kitty and sibling "Rosemary" were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Kentucky, where they had very little chance to thrive, or even survive. Now, having had competent veterinary care, lots of good food, and a loving environment, they can look forward to bringing love, joy, and laughter to a forever home and family. Although Maine Coon Rescue encourages kitten adoption in pairs, which would be ideal for them, Brother Kitty and Rosemary may be adopted separately, based on MCR adoption guidelines.
