Dessi is a beautiful, medium-sized gray and white girl.   She loves to be petted and told how pretty she is.  Her fur is soft and silky and she likes to be brushed - she will come running as soon she sees you pick up her special brush.  She gets along with calm dogs but needs to be the only cat in the home.  Dessi is a sweet, chubby little girl who absolutely loves being the center of attention. 

Dessi's perfect home is a calm, stable environment with no cats where she'll feel comfortable and secure once she settles in.  A single woman would be ideal but she will be fine with a couple as long as she can have her special woman to bond with.  She's very affectionate and likes to lay next to you on the sofa.  She'll join you on her own and loves a good hugging session!  She's a perfect companion and she's happy just to be in the same room with you.           

Dessi was quite overweight when she came to Maine Coon Rescue. We're very proud of her because she has lost 2 pounds!  She still has at least 2 more to go but with a good diet and exercise she'll continue to lose weight.  No matter her weight, she's adorable just the way she is!  

Dessi's new human will be lucky to have such a sweet companion.
